    Course Overview

    This course, also known as 'Ulum al-Qur'an, provides a comprehensive introduction to the sciences related to the study of the Qur'an. Students will learn about the history of the Qur'an's revelation and compilation, the different modes of recitation (qira'at), the principles of abrogation (nasikh wa mansukh), the reasons for revelation (asbab al-nuzul), and the principles of Quranic exegesis (Usool at-Tafsir). The course is designed to provide students with the necessary tools to approach the study of the Qur'an with a deeper understanding and appreciation of its divine nature and miraculous qualities.
