    Course Overview

    This course, also known as Mustalah al-Hadith, provides a detailed study of the terminology and methodology used by Hadith scholars to classify and authenticate the sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Students will learn to distinguish between different categories of Hadith, such as Sahih (authentic), Hasan (good), and Da'if (weak), and to understand the criteria used to evaluate the reliability of narrators. This knowledge is essential for anyone who wishes to engage with the Hadith literature in a scholarly and responsible manner.
