Course Overview

This course is dedicated to the art and science of reciting the Qur'an with proper pronunciation and intonation, designed specifically for women. Students will learn the rules of Tajwid, including the correct articulation points of the letters (makharij al-huruf), the characteristics of the letters (sifat al-huruf), and the rules of stopping and starting (waqf wa ibtida). The course is designed to help students beautify their recitation of the Qur'an in a supportive women-only environment.
