    Course Overview

    This course introduces students to the sciences that surround the Qur'an ('Ulum al-Qur'an), providing essential context for understanding Allah's Book. Topics include the history of revelation and compilation, the structure and arrangement of the Qur'an, the principles of abrogation (naskh), the clear and ambiguous verses (muhkam and mutashabih), and the methodology of sound interpretation. Students will develop a comprehensive framework that enhances their engagement with Qur'anic studies and Tafsir.
