Omar Sallam has been an active member of the London Muslim community for over a decade. He has studied Islamic Sciences both privately and formally, covering the basics of Shafi Fiqh and understanding the knowledge tradition and ancillary sciences in their role in sound understanding. Academically, he has studied theology at Huron College, focusing on Islamic Thought, law, and Pastoral Care. Omar enjoys books and lectures on various subjects, including theology, Fiqh, and Islamic spirituality. He advocates for people to learn their basics well, study Seera at a basic level, and strive to be lifelong learners in their Deen, career, and, most importantly, as spiritual seekers of high standing with our Lord. You will find Omar assisting with introductory subjects that orient attendees towards other subjects within the IDA program and academy.
